Speaking on his arrest, the spokesperson of the Ogun state police command, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said
“While the police detectives were on with their interrogation, one of the revered legal practitioners in the area alerted the police of the suspect’s criminal antecedents and urged the police to widen the scope of their interrogation, hence the confession of Ayodele Balogun, who has been practicing at a popular chamber in otta for a decade, to be a fake legal practitioner. The suspect and others,who might be indicted in the course of police investigation,be charged to court without delay and his(their) details be sent to the Nigerian Bar Association and other concerned groups/bodies for necessary action,” Adejobi saidHe will be arraigned in court soon.
